What should I do if my child is acting up during photos? As a Cedar City Utah family photographer I want to share my tips for coping with a toddler who is acting up during your photo session.
Having your photos professionally taken comes with a lot of stresses, that is no secret. You are spending a lot of money, have probably spent countless hours picking out outfits, and when it all comes down to it you PRAY your kids will behave. Fact of the matter is, there is a chance they aren’t going to behave 100% perfectly (shocker huh? 🤣).
Even if your little one is just not having it, and throwing tantrum after tantrum, I always tell Mom and Dad to stay as calm as possible. Is it frustrating? Absolutely. Will you getting frustrated solve the problem? Probably not. You staying happy, calm and trying your best to defuse the situation with not only help the situation get better, but you will remain looking happy in all of the photos regardless of how your child is acting. ❤️
