Let’s talk family mini sessions with Kenzie Mae Photography. As a Utah family and portrait photographer I like to offer mini sessions to my clients on a specific date in a specific location. This allows me to host multiple sessions at a time minimizing travel costs and allowing me to offer my sessions at a lower price. Some of the perks to mini sessions with me are as follows:

They are 30 minutes long. This can be good if you know your kids will not do well in a longer session.
Cheaper than a standard family session.

As far as a standard family session goes this is what you will be getting:

Sessions are longer. Some kids need a little time to warm up to the camera and session itself. Having longer session allows for this time.
I am able to get a larger variety of poses and shots. During a standard session I have a lot more time for those in-between tender moments that I usually don’t have enough time for during a mini session.
You are able to choose a date and location.
